The affiliate program is a unique opportunity to earn cash for referring new members to the Xerox FreeColorPrinters program. Here's how it works.

You are provided with the tools—buttons, banners, and text links—which you can post on your web site or in emails. When a visitor clicks through from your web site, submits an application and becomes an approved member, you'll earn a commission of $80 cash. You will also have the opportunity to earn more through various promotions and contests.

We track a lead for up to one year after their initial visit. Commissions are paid to the last affiliate site that lead visited. This means you will still earn commissions, even if your lead does not fill out an application during their initial visit.

Commissions are paid once per month, but you can track performance and earnings daily through an online tracking tool provided by Commission Junction.

Commission Junction is a leader in third-party web technology. They provide affiliates with trusted third party tracking and real-time reporting. When you become an approved affiliate, you'll be directed to Commission Junction's web site to create your own personal and secure account. From your account, you'll have access to banners and links as well as the ability to track your performance and commissions. Commission Junction will also issue commission checks to your organization on a monthly basis

Anyone can apply for the affiliate program. Our experts will review your application in good faith and notify you of approval within one week. Although we would like to allow everyone to join the affiliate program, there are cases where we cannot allow certain sites to participate. We may reject your application if we determine, at our sole discretion, that your site is unsuitable for the program.

Qualities of an unsuitable site include, but are not limited to those that:

• Do not cater to our target audiences (primarily non-profit, real estate, religious and small business organizations)
• Promote sexually explicit materials
• Promote violence
• Promote illegal activities
• Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age
• Are currently "under construction"
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Violates privacy laws

Because the FreeColorPrinters program is currently available to U.S. based organizations, we are only approving U.S. based web sites at this time.

Organizations that benefit most from the program print at least 2,000 pages per month (4 reams of paper) and spend on average $125/month on business printing.

You simply copy and paste the unique code generated by our automated system onto your site. As an approved affiliate you'll be provided with a variety of banners and text links.

We welcome you to be creative with how you drive leads to our web site; however, it is important that we maintain our brand requirements. Please obtain our approval for any creative outside of our Xerox branded links and banners made available via the Commission Junction site, by sending an email to xeroxfcp@cj.com.

The time to review a new application can vary based on the information provided. If an applicant is approved to become a member of the FreeColorPrinters program, the printer will generally ship within 2–3 business days of approval. We automatically notify Commission Junction of each printer shipment. Commissions are only paid once per month; however, you can visit your Commission Junction account and view your pending commissions at any time.
